Prophylactic Medical Examinations

In order to identify developmental disorders and diseases as early as possible, regular prophylactic medical examinations are essential. They help to make sure that developmental irregularities are identified as early as possible, thus preventing permanent damages.

  • U7         2. Birthday (21.–24. month of life)
  • U7a       3. Birthday (34.–36. month of life)
  • U8         4. Birthday (46.–48. month of life)
  • U9         5. Birthday (60. – 64. month of life)
  • U10       between 7 and 8 years of age  *
  • U11       between 9 and 10 years of age  *
  • J1        between 12 and14 years of age
  • J2        between 16 and 17 years of age  *

* The prophylactic examinations U10, U11 and J2 are not covered by all national health insurers. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have questions about this, we are happy to provide advice.
